DNC TV: ABC, NBC Hype Walker’s Scandals, Ignores Warnock’s Anti-Semitic Ties

News & Politics

On Tuesday evening, as many voters in Georgia were heading to the polls after work, ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News continued to provide in-kind contributions to the campaign of Democrat Senator Ralphael Warnock by burying his scandals and ties to a noted racist and anti-Semite and getting in one last hit job on his Republican opponent Herschel Walker.

ABC unsurprisingly left the smears to one of their most partisan “reporters” congressional correspondent Rachel Scott, who dutifully regurgitated DNC talking points by sneering: “Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock says this race comes down to two things: character and competence. He says his Republican rival Herschel Walker has neither.”

“For months, Walker has fended off a barrage of scandals, accused of domestic violence, of lying about his resume, failing to publicly acknowledge several children, and paying for two women to have abortions, which he has denied,” Scott continued.

She even interviewed voters, many of whom were voting for Warnock due to his perceived lack of qualifications and scandals which the media were responsible for hyping.

“For voters like Kirk Watkins, enough is enough. He voted for Republican Governor Brian Kemp, but won’t be supporting Walker,” Scott swooned.

The following exchange between Scott and alleged Republican voter Watkins who voted for Warnock:

KIRK WATKINS: I feel like I trust Mr. Warnock much more significantly than his opponent.

SCOTT: What do you make of Herschel Walker?

WATKINS: He’s a joke.

SCOTT: Why do you say that?

WATKINS: Well, he’s yet to make a statement that makes any sense. He has no policies, and he’s hand-selected by Trump for no particular reason. Just because.

Meanwhile, on NBC Nightly News, it was a similar story with White House correspondent Peter Alexander touting how “Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock is questioning the competence and character of his opponent, who’s faced a series of public scandals.”

Alexander did give Walker’s side of the story but only that he was slamming “Warnock as a rubber stamp for President Biden’s agenda.”

If Walker does indeed lose on Tuesday, the leftist media’s election interference and censorship of damaging stories about Warnock will certainly be a contributing factor.

DAVID MUIR: We turn next here tonight to Georgia and all eyes on the runoff race for the Senate there. Democrats already have a majority in the Senate with that tiebreaking vote from Vice President Kamala Harris, so, what this outcome now means for both sides, depending on who wins tonight. The candidates campaigning right down to the wire today, after record early voting, people waiting at polling places in Atlanta in the rain and across the state today. Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock, Republican challenger Herschel Walker. And Rachel Scott tonight from Georgia.

RACHEL SCOTT: It all comes down to tonight. The nation focused on Georgia yet again to determine whether Democrats will expand their majority in the Senate.

RAPHAEL WARNOCK: We’re not leaving anything to chance, which is why we’re standing out here, getting sprinkled and baptized again. We’re leaving it all on the field.

SCOTT: Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock says this race comes down to two things: character and competence. He says his Republican rival Herschel Walker has neither.

Your rival is calling out your character. Are you confident that you could flip this seat?

HERSCHEL WALKER: I’m not going to answer that, we’re going out to win this election. Right now, I’ll put my character against Raphael Warnock any day.

SCOTT: Warnock’s response to that.

WARNOCK: My opponent says many things, you can’t believe any of it.

SCOTT: For months, Walker has fended off a barrage of scandals, accused of domestic violence, of lying about his resume, failing to publicly acknowledge several children, and paying for two women to have abortions, which he has denied. For voters like Kirk Watkins, enough is enough. He voted for Republican Governor Brian Kemp, but won’t be supporting Walker.

SCOTT: In Atlanta, 32-year-old Laquita Phillips says she’s backing Warnock, too. Why not Herschel Walker?

LAQUITA PHILLIPS: He doesn’t have a pulse on what’s important to most people. He doesn’t seem to care about the welfare of others.

SCOTT: But Jennifer Cunningham says she wants a Republican to check the Democratic Senate, and that’s why she’s sticking with Walker.

JENNIFER CUNNINGHAM: The couple of swing votes that can stop some what you might view as very, very detrimental measures that are being considered, I think it’s just so important.

SCOTT: More than 1.8 million people voted early in Georgia, and that was expected to give Warnock an advantage. Walker is counting on big turnout from supporters like Danny Alea, who waited to vote on election day.

DANNY ALEA: Well, he’s the only Republican choice left standing, and there’s just no way I can vote for Warnock.

PETER ALEXANDER: Tonight it’s election day again. Georgians lining up before dawn, going to the polls for the fourth time in two years to decide the nation’s final Senate seat. Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock is questioning the competence and character of his opponent, who’s faced a series of public scandals.

RAPHAEL WARNOCK: Having to be represented by Herschel Walker for six years. That, my friends, will be exhausting.

ALEXANDER: Republican challenger Herschel Walker is slamming Warnock as a rubber stamp for President Biden’s agenda.

HERSCHEL WALKER: We’re going to get out and win this election. Herschel Walker is going to be your Senator, and we’re going get things changed.
